The Briana M. Stanton Scholarship is awarded to a student who has been accepted into an undergraduate program or is currently enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited institution of higher learning who has demonstrated academic merit and active membership and involvement in the Covenant Point Youth Ministry.The scholarship award is a minimum of $500 for the academic year.
To receive an award, the student must be a member of CovenantPointUnitedMethodistChurch and one of the following:
An active member of the Youth Ministry who is a graduating senior and has been accepted by an accredited institution of higher education; or,
A former active member of the Youth Ministry and a full-time undergraduate student (12 credit hours) enrolled in a degree program with a 2.50 grade point average at an accredited college or university
Academic merit
Demonstrated service and commitment to Covenant Point and the United Methodist church
Active involvement in student activities or organizations
Demonstrated commitment to community service
Applicants Must Submit:
A completed application and one letter of recommendation by April 30, 2011.Scholarships are announced in June 2011and will be applied to the following Fall/Spring academic year.

The Briana M. Stanton scholarship fund is made possible through donations, designated tithes and offerings and Youth Ministry fundraising activities.
